The policy and research team is looking for active members. Do you like combing through records, doing research, and accurately collecting data? The policy and research team may be right for you. This behind the scenes work helps our front facing teams to be knowledgeable and in the right place at the right time.

We're headed back to Tradesman Brewing Co, but this time for our first ever Bank 'n' Brew event! Grab a pint from the bar and then head to the backroom to call fellow instant runoff voting supporters!

This is a great way to connect with fellow local supporters and support the cause! Please bring a friendly attitude, a phone, and an internet connectable device (they have Wi-Fi). If you do not have an internet connectable device, paper lists will be provided. You can bring a friend. The more the merrier!

There will be a short training before calling starts.

Join us via Zoom for a quick training followed by a phone bank as we call our supporters.

We'll be talking to our supporters about our newly local and monthly strategy meetings.

All you need is a friendly attitude, a phone, and an internet connected device to record responses.

Not in Columbia or Charleston or unable to attend in person? No worries! The more the merrier. After our statewide update, we'll break into smaller groups based on region and we'd love your input, from whatever corner of SC you're in!

When voters go to the polls, instead of voting for one, they rank their candidates. This gives voters More Voice and More Choice. If a voter's top choice has no path to victory, their vote is transferred to their second choice. This ensures majority support while eliminating costly runoffs. It also has some other great benefits:

• Reduces polarization and mudslinging
• Eliminates the spoiler effect and vote splitting
• Increases representation

Please arrive 15 minutes early to situate yourself and to chat with fellow supporters. Can't make it in person? That's alright too. You can join your local group virtually!

If you are attending in person, we will be holding a canned food collection drive. Help us fill Blessing boxes in the Charleston Area.
